With the threat of COVID-19 still plaguing the world earlier this year, the Mexia football awards banquet went viral rather than in-person, as coaches announced individual awards via Youtube.
The Mexia baseball team had more hits than Waco LaVega, 7-5.
But LaVega came out on top on the scoreboard, 2-0, and will continue to play in the postseason playoffs.
