American veterans invited to Feb. 17 luncheon in Palestine

All area veterans are invited to a free lunch at the Palestine VVA/DAV Hall at noon on Thursday, Feb. 17. The lunch will be provided by four Anderson County healthcare providers.

Pump prices pumping up

Gas prices last Thursday afternoon began spiking once again at many stations all over Mexia with the average jump about 10 cents. Most businesses were selling a gallon of regular gas for $3.09.
