The Wortham Lady Bulldogs softball team (2-1) took the field on Monday evening in Waco for a non-district road contest against the Texas Wind Lady Skyhawks. Wortham won the ballgame by a final score of 11-10.
Ladyjackets lose season opener at Oakwood 15-0
The 21st ranked Coolidge Yellowjackets basketball team traveled to Hubbard on Tuesday, Feb. 17 for their bi-district playoff game against the Milford Bulldogs. They defeated Milford 67-56 to advance to the Area Round of the UIL 1A-Division 2 playoffs.
