Carl “Wayne” Thompson, of Donie, passed away Feb. 28, 2021, in Waco, at the age of 75. Visitation with family will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home with the Rev. David Snow officiating and Randy Barger speaking. Interment will follow at the Union Cemetery, between Donie and Groesbeck off Highway 164. Ron Arnold, Benji Taylor, Clay Thompson, Roy Welch, Randy Barger and Jace Floyd will serve as pallbearers.

Danny Brooks, 64, of Mexia, passed away on Feb. 22, 2021, in Mexia. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27, at Pairie Grove Baptist Church, with Mike Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Prairie Grove Cemetery. Family visitation was to be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Arthur “Butch” White, 75, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Brother Carl Clark of Dew Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Dew Cemetery.
