Library Director ShienDee Pullman spoke to the Mexia Lions Club recently about Mexia’s Gibbs Memorial Library, updating those present on how the library is catching up after the devastating fire set by an arsonist on Sept. 28, 2019.
The Mexia City Council met Tuesday, June 21, at the Civic Center, to discuss renewing the city’s health insurance policy, hotel/motel occupancy taxes and funds for repaving streets.

Mexia City Council met Tuesday, June 21, to review three swimming pool concepts, receive an update on estimated total project costs and discuss a possible Texas Parks and Wildlife grant and the Phillips Charitable Trust fund grant to construct a new municipal pool.
