Mexia is changing up its July 4th celebration this year, with morning events – including new activities added to familiar favorites – beginning downtown.
Ketch Weaver will perform his trick-roping show for the first time ever in his hometown Thursday when he highlights the 92nd Annual Mexia Rodeo put on by the Mexia Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Limestone County Nineteenth of June Organization, led by interim chair Dr. Sharon Kirven, hosted a weekend of celebration at Booker T. Washington Park on Lake Mexia.
