Dunbar-Douglass Alumni Assoc. presents scholarships
Dunbar-Douglass Alumni Association presented three $500 scholarships to this year’s scholarship recipients. The presentation was held recently at Gibbs Memorial Library and was attended by several family members, friends and alumni officers. Each recipient also received an additional $200 in memory of Frank Proctor Sr and Carolyn Anderson, both of whom were dedicated members of the Alumni Association and advocates of education by supporting the scholarship fund. The recipients also received a certificate of merit and a beautiful bouquet of flowers donated by Blossom’s Florist of Mexia.
