Mexia Lions Club President Michael Jones, center, congratulates the Club’s sweetheart and beau for March: Jaleah Davis and Cris Obregon. After graduation, both plan to attend the University of Texas-Arlington, Jaleah to study nursing and Cris to study mechanical engineering.
This week at Mexia LTC we started off having Bible study with Irma Carranza on Monday morning. Residents played bingo on Monday afternoon. Residents enjoyed their Bible group with Bob Kersten on Tuesday morning. Residents took beautiful Easter pictures with McKenna from Solaris Hospice that morning also. Residents stuffed Easter eggs that afternoon.
Mexia will have five teams competing Thursday through Saturday in the Little Dribblers National Division National Tournament in Mexia.
The Stone County Conservative Coalition conducted a forum March 28 about human trafficking.
