The Mexia softball team spotted Elkhart nine runs and lost, 11-2, in a District 20-3A game at Elkhart on Tuesday, April 11.

Bryant qualified in three events. He won the 200-meter dash and helped the Blackcats to first place in the 4x200 and a runner-up finish in the 4x100. The Mexia baseball team overcame a three-run deficit with seven runs in the sixth inning and defeated Elkhart, 15-12, in a District 20-3A contest at Elkhart on Tuesday, April 11.
Jaleigh Hall is a standout softball player for Mexia, but last year she decided to give soccer a try.
Nineteen Mexia athletes earned the chance to run, throw, jump or vault another day.
