The Coolidge Ladyjackets basketball team notched a 42-21 home win over Penelope Tuesday night.
After Tuesday’s district opening win at home against Groesbeck, the Mexia Ladycats basketball team carried an overall record of 4-2 into Thursday’s Hillsboro Tournament. This includes a 47-42 road win over Connally on Nov. 5, a 64-19 home triumph over Life Oak Cliff on Nov. 12, and a 48-33 home win against Corsicana on Nov. 25.
