Marilyn Dean Nichols Kerley, of Teague, passed away on Jan. 13, 2022, in Mexia at the age of 75. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, in the Salem Cemetery with Pastor Roy Prather officiating.
The Rev. Billy Gene Thompson went to be with his Lord and Savior on Dec. 23, 2021, at the age of 93. He passed away in the early morning hours at The Manor Care Center in Mexia, where he had been a resident for the past five and a half years.
Jeffery Paul Phillips, known by his friends and loved ones as Jeff, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 31, 2021, at the age of 55. Jeff was born in Wichita Falls on June 21, 1966, to parents Billy “Fuzz” Paul Phillips and Betty ruth Phillips.

A Celebration of Life for Nancy Davis will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 22, at Shiloh Baptist Church. A time of sharing food and fellowship will follow at the Shiloh Community Center. A memorial gathering will be at the family’s Shiloh property located at 1645 LCR 433, Mexia, at dark. We will be under the large flowering pear tree which she loved.
