FAYE NELL HIGGINS

Faye Nell Higgins, of Donie and formerly of Mexia, passed away Feb. 9, 2021, in Waco, at the age of 87. Funeral services were at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 12, at Donie Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert McDougal officiating. Interment followed in the Mexia Cemetery. Trent Turner, Roy DeFriend, Dave Chilcoat, Gary Franklin, Logan Arnold and Benji Taylor served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Don Turner, Ray Newsom, and the Deacons of Donie Baptist Church.

On Feb. 2, 2021, the Lord gained an extremely “Special Angel,” Mary Ann Dunkin. The family will have a private service.

GARY EARL TALBOT

Gary Earl Talbot passed away Feb. 7, 2021, at the age of 78. Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will begin at 2 p.m., prior to the service. Interment will be in the Mexia Cemetery.

JAMES WILLIAM ‘J.W.’ KILLINGSWORTH

James William “J.W.” Killingsworth, of Mexia, passed away February 3, 2021 in Arlington, Texas at the age of 76. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Christ Gospel Fellowship Church with Pastor Stephen Dubois officiating. Interment will follow in the Point Enterprise Cemetery. Ski Hicks, Steve Hicks, Sammy Jones, Mark Vaughn, Devon Sikes, Elvin Sikes, James Mandrell and James Hargrove will serve as pallbearers.
