Thomas Jerry Hathaway passed away Jan. 31, 2021, in Mexia at the age of 81. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 5, at the Mexia Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Beatrice Hathaway; sister, Jean Born; and step-son, Bryan Bailey.

He is survived by his wife, Valaree Hathaway of Mexia; children, Tom Hathaway and wife Sharon of Waco, Tammi Stewart and husband Dana of California and Jennifer Flannigan and husband Rodney of Comanche; stepchildren, Rebecca Lucas and husband Dave of Ennis and Bill Bailey and wife Nikki of Robinson; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and the mother of his children, Linda LeDuc.
