TAMMY KAY BUNNELL

Tammy Kay Bunnell, 61, of Mexia, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Skilled Care of Mexia. She was born on May 11, 1959, in Jacksboro.

Tammy lived a full life.

Through no fault of her own, she was born with a chromosome disorder. Even though this cloud hung over her entire life, she dealt with her disability. She maintained a great loving attitude. She loved everyone, her family, her caretakers and fellow clients. She lived 61 years and never had an enemy. She loved music; she would dance until she became wheelchair bound. Then she would clap her hands and stomp her feet. She never let her disability stop her from living her life to the fullest.

Tammy is survived by her mother and father, Pat and Jim Bunnell; her brother, JimBo Bunnell; sister Kim Bunnell and sister-in-law Renee Bunnell; and many nieces and nephews; Ashley Russell, Brittany Brown, Taylor Bunnell and Robson Pritchett.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Winn Hill Cemetery in Jacksboro, with the Rev. B.J. Nunely officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be TJ Bunnell, Robson Pritchett, Jake Brown, Brad Russell, Brendan Russell, Bradley Russell and Brady Russell.
