SONIA MICHELLE WILEY

Sonia Michelle Wiley was born Nov. 10, 1971, to the union of Charles and Edna Wiley in Galveston.

She accepted Christ at an early age and renewed her life at Sweet Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Tony Green.

Wiley and her family later relocated to Fairfield, where she graduated with the Class of 1990 at Fairfield High School

Sonia began her career at an early age as a loving and very attentive certified nursing assistant at Fairview Manor Nursing Home in Fairfield.

She attended El Centro College and later advanced to the position of a Certified Medication Aide serving many residents who loved her.

One of her greatest joys in this life was becoming the mother to her beautiful baby girl, Auidacious Maechelle Wiley, whom she cherished.

She departed this life on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Edna Wiley.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories a daughter, Auidacious Maechelle Wiley of Dallas; two brothers, Keith (Destiny) Wiley of Fairfield and Edward Jefferson of Waco; four sisters, Danielle (Thomas) Jammer of Houston, Yolanda (Brandon) Donalson of Dallas, Nisa Livingston of Dallas and Sharon Cooper Houston; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and many cousins and friends.

Service were at 11 a.m. Feb. 5 at Cornerstone Full Gospel Church in Fairfield. Arrangements were made by Pearly Gates Funeral Home of Mexia.
