RUTH HALL

Graveside services for Ruth Hall were held Monday, May 18, at Post Oak Cemetery in Donie. Mr. Don Jones officiated.

Visitation was held Sunday, with the family present at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague.

Mrs. Hall passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at Dogwood Trails Assisted Living in Palestine.

Ruth Hall was born on Oct. 19, 1943, in Corsicana to parents John Welsey II and Betty Ruth Alldredge. She grew up in both Mexia and Coolidge.

Mrs. Hall and her husband, Gaylon, were in love for 61 years. Ruth was an avid painter and taught art classes in Teague after attending class in Donie. She and her husband volunteered at the BRI Museum, where her painting of the old train depot is on display. Mrs. Hall loved to study ancestry and genealogy; she had traced their family into the 1700s. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hall was also a member of the Teague Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Gaylon Hall, of Teague; three sons, Lynn Hall and wife Ronda, of Ennis, Russell Hall, of Teague, and Wesley Hall and wife Melissa, of Mont Belvieu; six grandchildren, Deidra Hall, Diane Hall, Jeffery Fogle, Ronnie Fogle and wife Connie, Tim Hall and wife Brittney, and Emily Hall; eight great-grandchildren, Austin Mason, Kyrsten Hall, Caleb Hall, Bailey Young, Maddox Hall, Ainsley Hall, Briley Hall and Charley Hall; and numerous cousins and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Teague Church of Christ, P.O. Box 207, Teague, TX 75860.
