MILLARD HALL

The Angelic Host came for Millard Hall on Monday, July 11, 2022 at the Atrium Rehabilitation Center, in Bellmead, Tx.

Hall was born October 11, 1921, in Datura, Tx. (near Coolidge, Tx.) to Lonnie L. Hall and Jessie Mae Ross Hall. He grew up in Limestone County, attended school in Coolidge and was baptized at an early age, member and deacon of The New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Tehuacana, Tx.

He married Annie Jewel Lacy Hall in Limestone County and made their home in Tehuacana. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Dawson, Tx. Hall was an avid farmer, rancher and cattleman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; sisters: Ollie Mae Hall, Louise Hall Houze, Dorothy Helen Hall Harrison, Othella Hall Boyd; and brothers: General Lee (Jack) Hall and Bennie Ree (Jill) Hall; and daughter: Emma Bonner Clark.

Hall is survived by his daughter Shelia Hall Pettis and husband, Marvin, Sr.; grandchildren Shemeca, Marvin Jr., Shelesha and Marlon Pettis, Burl Bonner Jr. and Kimberly Clark; great-grandchildren SheKaylan Pettis and JaRon Levingston, Shala, Tyreshia and Burl Bonner III; great-great-grandchildren I’Rihanna Anderson and Ja’Kobi Parsons; sisters and brother-in-law Erma Davis, Marvette Bonnie and Albert Houze; along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home, 406 Monroe St., in Teague, Tx. is serving the Hall family.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 11 a.m. in St. Luke United Methodist Church, 405 South Belknap Street in Mexia, Tx., where Rev. Carolyn Flaxx is pastor. Rev. Clifton Davis, Jr. will be the eulogist.

All viewing and family visitation will be held 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday July 19, Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home, and from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church before the funeral begins.

The family will lunch at the St. Luke Fellowship Hall before the internment. Interment will be in the Antioch Cemetery on N. 1st St. in Teague.
