Kathy Faye Robinson

Kathy Faye Robinson passed away April 6, 2019, in Waco at the age of 65.  Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with the Rev. Michael Vestal officiating.  Interment will follow at the Mexia Cemetery.

Visitation with the family was to be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home.

Kathy was born January 16, 1954, in Mexia to Benjamin Don and Faye Nell Holmes O’Pry.  She was a behavioral therapist for the Mexia State Supported Living Center for more than 30 years.

Kathy loved spending time with her family, especially, her grandchildren. She also considered her dogs a part of the family. She had a strong work ethic. After retiring from the Mexia State Supported Living Center, she went back to work for them and was currently still working.  She enjoyed sewing, shopping and playing games; she was an avid pogo player.  

She was preceded in death by her mother, Faye Nell O’Pry.

Kathy is survived by her three loving children, Johnny Darrell Robinson of Crockett, Jason Don “J.R.” Robinson and wife Mary of Richardson, and Brandi Brim and husband Paul of Mexia; grandchildren, Triston B. Robinson, Kamdyn Robinson, Brandon Turner, Bradley Turner, Braeden Turner, Madison Brim; one great-grandson, Thomas Turner; father, B. Don O’Pry; brother, Rickey O’Pry and wife Cynthia; sisters, Rhonda Stelter and husband Fred of McGregor and Donna Kay of Midlothian.
