Janie was born in Waco on Oct. 23, 1949, to Clarence Bernice and Gerald Dean (Stephens) Brewer. She worked for Seven Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation for over 40 years, a job that was so suited for her as she had a big heart and loved caring for others.

Janie was blessed with four children, Sandra Michelle, Cynthia LaNay, Ricky Dwayne, and Buford Randall Booth Jr. Her family was her life, and she was theirs. Jannie’s spirit was one of abundant life, laughter, joy, peace and calm. She loved and adored her family with unconditional love and support. She had a quick sense of humor and always made you laugh and feel loved. She supported her siblings with her love and prayers. Jannie is no longer with us physically, but her beautiful spirt will live within us Always. She will be missed but never forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Buford Randall Booth Jr.; grandchildren, Colton Hamilton, Colby Michael Plumlee and Mikey Plumlee; and brother, Clarence Ray “Bo” Brewer.
