Jacquelyn Wyrick Cox

Jacquelyn Wyrick Cox passed away Nov. 12, 2018, at Seton Hospital in Harker Heights after a long battle with COPD and Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Jacquelyn was born May 2, 1940, at the Angelina County Hospital in Lufkin to Evelyn Estelle McHargue and Jack Lonnie Wyrick.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Wyrick of Mexico; three sons, Charles Steven Mounce of Kentucky, John Howard Maxwell Jr. of Waco and Timothy Jay Maxwell of Kempner; one grandson, Rayburn Clark Norris; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by husbands John Howard Maxwell Sr., Garland “Toby” Cox and James Howard; her brother, Norman Wyrick; her aunt, Genelle McHargue Harrington; her parents., Jack and Evelyn; grandmother, Cordie McHargue; and others.

An informal memorial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at the American Legion Post 121 in Elm Mott, Texas.
