HELEN IRENE SEELYE

Helen Irene Seelye, of Mexia, passed away Aug. 23, 2020, at Parkview Regional Hospital, at the age of 57.

She was born Oct. 4, 1962, in Houston, to Carl and Bertha Seelye. She had eight sisters and four brothers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Seelye and Bertha Thompson; three brothers, Charles Edward Seelye, Carl Seelye Jr. and Robert Seelye Sr.; and three sisters, Alice Gonzales Seelye, Katie Sims, Margaret Petty and Norma Malone. She is survived by her

She is survived by her daughter, Bertha Barber, of Mount Calm, one brother, Ronald Seelye, of Spring; and four sisters, Betty Seelye of Valleymills, Carolyn Follette, of Oakwood, Millie Jones, of Houston, and Mary Posinski, of Starks, La.; also several nieces and nephews and two grandkids, McKayla Grace Barber and Daniel Ethan Barber, about whom she spoke highly about every chance she got and to anyone who would listen.
