GENIA MARIE DAVIS

Genia Marie Davis Bostian age 46, of Mildred, passed away May 10, 2022, at Hillcrest of Waco surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Genia was born in Mt. Pleasant on Feb. 10, 1976, to Gary Wayne Davis and Annette Jacobs Davis. Genia attended Coolidge Independent School District. That is where she met the love of her life C.L. Bostian. After graduation in 1995 they married and had two sons Matthew David and Vance Coy.

Genia went to cosmetology school at Taylors Institute of Cosmetology at College Park Mall in Corsicana. Genia opened her own salon called “Kountry Kutz” in Coolidge and managed various salons in Corsicana.

Genia was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Coolidge for many years.

Genia enjoyed family vacations, taking rides with her husband on the motorcycle, camping and fishing with her family was a big enjoyment to her.

Genia is preceded in death by her father Gary Wayne Davis, grandparents, John and Ivy Davis, uncles, John “Bucket” Davis, Jimmy Davis and her aunt, Melba Davis. Grandfather Bobby Lee Jacobs, uncle, Reagan Jacobs and her aunt Debbie Nash. Father and mother-in-law Bobby and Sally Bostian and, nephew, Russell Haynes.

Genia is survived by her husband C.L Bostian and, children, Matthew David Bostian and Vance Coy Bostian and spouse, Alexis Nicole Young. Sister Terri Davis Shirley and husband, Bob Shirley and her brother Ricky Wayne Davis. Mother Annette Jacobs Davis, grandmother Patsy Joe Jacobs and her uncle Randall Jacobs and wife Christi. Brother and sister-in-law Nick and Jeannie Haynes, four nieces, three nephews and their spouses. Many great-nieces and greatnephews who all loved her very much.

Visitation with the family will be 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2022, in the First United Methodist Church in Coolidge with Sister Angie Allcorn officiating. Interment will follow in the Coolidge Cemetery.
