DALE INGHAM RASBEARY

Dale Ingham Rasbeary, 59, of Mexia, passed away on Aug. 29, 2021, at Providence Medical Center in Waco. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m. at Tehuacana Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Friday evening, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Rasbeary was born on June 28, 1962, in Pasadena, to William Cullen and Priscilla Rasbeary. He had many occupations over his life, from driving a truck, to being a self-employed contractor, doing fence building and had a tire shop. He loved racing cars, including visiting Prairie Hill. He even built a couple of race cars. He liked to put his daughter, April, in the race cars when she was little and would rev up the engine and put the biggest grin on her face.

Dale was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Michael Fletcher, and great-grandson, Jeremiah. Survivors include his mother, Priscilla Rasbeary; fiancé Sheila Whitson; brother Cullen Rasbeary and wife Jewell; children April Maldonado and husband Valentin, Jeani Rasbeary-Fletcher, Elayna Martin and Dustin Martin; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, who were like close family.
