CHARLES ‘CHARLIE’ JOHNSON

Charles “Charlie” Johnson, 77, of Mexia passed away Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, at Providence Hospital in Waco.

Charlie was born Sept. 7, 1944, to the late Cecil and Annie Johnson. He was raised in Mexia and lived there until his later years. He was a retired carpenter and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his children, Windy, Kody, Lacy and Charlotte; numerous grandkids; sister, Nancy Rogers; brother-in-law, Larry Watson; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and his ex-wife and husband-in-law, Kellye and John.

He is proceeded in death by his parents; brothers, Sunny and Buster; sisters, Annie Mae, Darlene, Blondie, June and Betty; nephews, Dennis, Mackey and JJ; nieces, Loretta and Tina; great-nephew, Shane; and great-great-niece, Harper.
