Carol Sue McFall

Carol Sue McFall, 72, formerly of Mexia, went to her Heavenly Home in the early morning hours of April 25, 2024, at her son’s home in Liberty Hill.

Carol Sue was born on February 14, 1952, in San Angelo. She earned her master’s degree from Sam Houston University. Carol Sue had been in the community all her life, until 2020 when she moved to be with Rob and his family. She retired after 37 years with the Mexia State School in social services and as QMRP coordinator. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mexia.

Carol Sue was preceded in death by her biological father, Wesley Evans; parents, Jack and Sudie Floyd and brother, Larry Evans.

She is survived by her son Robert McFall and wife, Tiffany, of Liberty Hill; grandson, Jackson McFall; granddaughter, Adison Mc-Fall; sister-in-law, Donna Evans; nephew, Brett Evans and wife, Hillary; niece, Meredith Doty and husband, Trey; nephew, Wil Floyd and wife, Jerri; nephew, Carl Floyd and wife, Rikki; and niece, Candace Floyd.

Memorial services will be held for Carol Sue on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Mexia with Pastor Zach Huckabee officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are Wil Floyd, Carl Floyd, Brett Evans, Tyler Dennis, Robbie Dennis, Rob Taute, Keith Pittman, Thomas Herbert, David Paull, Rodney Armstrong, Jerry Allen, Alden Garber and Dg Cook.
