Carol Ann Robertson Keys

Carol Ann Robertson Keys was born in Mexia on Sept. 22, 1947, to Lon and Lucille Robertson. She married William B. Keys Jr. on Aug. 9, 1969, and soon after they moved to Palestine. She had two boys, William B Keys III and Jeffrey L Keys. She spent her years being a loving wife and mother, always taking care of everyone else.

After her husband’s passing, she moved in with her youngest son and son-in-law and lived in Denton, Gunter, and Granbury.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, brother Billy Robertson, husband Billy Keys, and sister Mary Lynn Gray.

She is survived by her son Will Keys, son and son-in-law Jeff Keys and Jesse Moore, niece Robin King, nephew Corey Gray, sister-in-law Melinda Archibald, and several cousins and extended family.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, at Bailey & Foster Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Park. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
