Brooks Anthony Becker

Brooks Anthony Becker, age 15 months, of Boerne, passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, with his mama and dada by his side.

Brooks was born July 10, 2021, in San Antonio, where he spent the first three weeks of his life developing in the NICU. From the moment Brooks was born he showed that he was a fighter. Brooks’ growth was not delayed, hitting the 90th percentile in size by his third month of life. As Brooks continued to grow physically, his personality grew with him and began to show the loving nature that we all remember. Whether friend or stranger, Brooksy’s love flowed outward, being remembered for his exaggerated waves and sweet and repetitive kisses. Although Brooks was only 15 months old, he was one of the greatest disciples we’ve ever known; being the epitome of spreading love.

Brooks is survived by parents, Dillon and Abbey Becker of Boerne; grandparents, Tony and Norma Multer of Rowena; grandparents, Hershel and Charlotte Becker of Brenham; great-grandparents, Ben Albarado Sr. of Rowena; great-grandparents, Stephen and Susan Fletcher of Mexia; great-grandparents, Paul and Diane Melder of Marlin; aunt, Alisha Multer of Irving; uncle, Adam Multer of Allen; aunt and uncle, Kevin and Robin Keller of Cedar Park; cousins, Wyatt and Addison Keller of Cedar Park; godfather, Blake Bass of New Braunfels; and godmother, Sloan Voss of San Angelo.

He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Ina Albarado, Roman and Gladys Multer, and paternal great-grandparents, Albert and Pearlie Becker.

Brooks will be remembered and greatly missed by a host of close friends and family.

A Funeral Mass will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 22, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Rowena, immediately followed by a meal and fellowship.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at Messiah Lutheran Church of Boerne in Boerne. Come as you are as we celebrate Brooks’ life. Refreshments and fellowship to follow.

In lieu of flowers, Dillon and Abbey ask that you make a loving donation to the Brooks Becker Endowment Fund for an annual scholarship in perpetuity for the Angelo State University Baseball Program. Dillon and Abbey intend to extend Brooks’ life and spirit through impacting others in the most positive way by awarding the student- athlete that best exemplifies love, teamwork, perseverance and strength.

Donations can be made at Angelo.edu/donate. In the “Area of Support” select “Athletics” and comment “Brooks Becker” in the “Other Designation” box.

Although our hearts are completely broken with unimaginable pain and feeling of loss, our hope is to fill the void by extending Brooks’ light and love to others in an impactful way that will glorify God and the life that our Brooksy lived.
