BRIDGER JOSEPH WAYNE WINSOR

Bridger Joseph Wayne Winsor passed away in Topeka, Kan., on March 8, 2021, at the age of 38. Funeral services, with Military Honors, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 15, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers were Steele Winsor, Ian Winsor, Kenneth Thompson, John Akin, Gage Akin and Jason Winsor.

Bridger was born Jan. 27, 1983, in Memphis, Texas, to Mark Thomas and Lisa Anne (Pearson) Winsor. Bridger was a loving son and brother. He was willing to help with anything, no matter what was needed and enjoyed spending most of his time outdoors. He spent a lot of time entertaining his nieces and nephews. They loved every minute of their time with him and thought he was the best.

Soon after graduating high school, Bridger enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he completed recruit training as Platoon Honorman, Company A, PFC, Platoon 1061. He proudly served his country from Jan. 27, 2003, until June 30, 2004.

Bridger will be missed and remembered as a kind, gentle and fun-loving son, grandson, brother and uncle.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ben Pearson.

Bridger is survived by his parents, Mark and Lisa Winsor; his siblings, Jennifer Nicole Akin and husband, John and their children, Gage and Brooklyn Akin; Cristan Michelle Thompson and husband Kenneth, and their children, Caelyn, Kendall and Kameryn Thompson; Falon Steele Winsor; Ian Sean Winsor and wife Jessica and their children, Jason, Ella and Avery Winsor; maternal grandmother, Jean Pearson; paternal grandparents, Henry and Mary Winsor; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
