Brenda Roberts Berringer, 76, passed away on Feb. 22, 2019, in Jefferson, after a short battle with cancer. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 10, at 2 p.m. at Old Bethel Cemetery, with Michael Symank, officiating.
Ms. Berringer was born on Feb. 19, 1952, in Alvin, to Billy Joe and Georgia Maudean Freeman Roberts.
She had been in Mexia most of her life, leaving after her sophomore year. She graduated from Aldine.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Glenda Driver.
Brenda is survived by her sister, Paula Symank and husband Michael, of Mexia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
