Bonnie Sue Jones

Bonnie Sue Jones, 73, of Corpus Christi, passed away Oct. 12, 2022, at Angel Bright Hospice Center in Corpus Christi. Jones was born Nov. 8, 1949, in Waco to Afton and Lillie Tull and graduated from Chilton High School. She loved to crochet, read Stephen King books and be with her girls, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She married her husband, Ed Jones, on Aug. 29, 1992, and they were married for 30 years. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, a sister, a brother, a grandson and a son-in-law.

She is survived by her three daughters, Tracy Harris and her husband Thomas of Mart, Jennifer Sutton and Phillip Litton of Corpus Christi, and Chana Gladding of Kosse; a step-daughter, Jennifer Jones of Mart; her two sisters, Rita Presely of Bryan and Marilyn Tull of Bryan; her four brothers, Rickey Tull, Danny Tull, Sammy Tull and Kenneth Tull; 11 grandchildren, Shasta and Omar Rojas, Ryan and Sunie Miller, Britany and Gilbert Reyes, Justin Leone, Leslie Gladding, Ashton Gladding, Walter Powe Jr., Kellee Powe, Devin Sutton, Gwen Heath and Eddie Heath; along with several grea- grandchildren.

Visitation was held Oct. 20 at Corley Porter-Funeral Home in Mexia. Serving as her pallbearers were her grandchildren and brother: Ryan Miller, Rickey Tull, Omar Rojas, Joseph Smith, Walter Powe, Jr. and Eddie Quinton; honorary pallbearers were JW Miller, Kenneth Tull, Danny Tull, Sammy Tull and Devin Sutton.

Graveside services were Friday, Oct. 21, at Greenwood Cemetery in Teague with Pastor Calvin Tull officiating.
