AUBREY RAY BRASHER SR.

Aubrey Ray Brasher Sr., 75, of Groesbeck, passed away Oct. 3, 2020, at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest in Waco. A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 31, at Mexia Family Church with Pastor Thomas Rasey officiating.

Mr. Brasher was born Dec. 8, 1944, in Kennard to Milton Linell and Ida Mae Dominy Brasher. He was of the Pentecostal faith and attended the Mexia Family Church. He loved his family very much. He touched the lives of many people. Aubrey was a jack of all trades, was a carpenter and retired from Mexia Fabricators.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his soulmate, Mildred Beard of Groesbeck; children, Pamela Waddle and husband Allen of Groesbeck, Dennis Brasher of Mexia, Aubrey Brasher Jr. and wife Bernadette of Philippines, Kenneth Brasher of Mexia, and Sandra Taylor of Waco; grandchildren, Krystal Winn and husband Brendt, Ashley Cole, Leo Boulware, Freya, Misty, Zsophia and Yzzabella Brasher, Bernalyn and Robelyn Demellentes, Jordan Carroll, Hunter Nash, Aaron and Ashton Taylor; great-grandchildren, Cullen and Sidney Winn; as well as eight sisters and three brothers.
