AMANDA RUTH HALL

Amanda Ruth Hall was the third child born to Sherran Dianne Hall and Cassius O’Shea Phillips on March 30, 1987, in Mexia. She went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Baylor Scott and White Temple Hospital with her loved ones at her side.

Amanda Ruth Hall grew up in Mexia and attended Mexia Independent School District until the 11th grade. She got the nickname BayBay from her family at an early age. Amanda was a people person. She was not shy about anything and would say things to make you laugh. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her child, Legend, was the joy and love of her life and significant other, Jamal Brown.

Amanda is preceded in death by her grandfather, E.W. Hall and her uncle, Anthony Darnell Hall.

Those who will cherish her memory most are her mother, Sherran Dianne Turner; stepfather, Andre Wayne Turner; son, Legend Ja’Kei Hall; grandmother, Helen Ruth Walker and stepgrandfather, Rayford Walker; brothers, Luther Dewayne Hall and Almalonzo Antonio Hall; special significant other, Jamal Brown and mother-in-law, Aliene Brown; aunts, Erma Modean Green, Janice Marie Waters and Charlotte Denise Hall; uncles, Danny Lee Hall, James Edward Hall, Rickey Green and Johnny Waters; best friend, Caressa Marquittia Thomas; special cousin, Kristal Dansby; special friends, Corietta Cooper and Amber Donahue; nephews, Larenz MaliQ Hall, Josiah Zachary Hall, A’Mari Jacob Hall; niece, Tivonni Jazelle Hall.
