Limestone County Attorney Roy DeFriend was notified early Tuesday, Jan. 5, that the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles plans to medically parole inmate Carlos Don Stultz, the man convicted in 1970 of killing Mexia teen Kathy Jones in June 1969. Stultz was also convicted of killing a Grand Prairie girl in August 1968.
This week at Mexia LTC we started the week off with playing hallway checkers on Monday morning. Residents played bingo on Monday afternoon. We were to read Bible study notes sent by Bob Kersten on Tuesday morning on each hall. Residents were to play bean bag toss on Tuesday afternoon. Residents will do in-room activities of choice on Wednesday morning. Residents will play bingo that afternoon. Residents will enjoy manicures on Thursday morning and play ring toss that afternoon. Residents will enjoy manicures on Friday morning and play bingo that afternoon. Residents will enjoy church services either online or on TV on Sunday evening.
