Browsing Veterans Partners sales

Exploring the items at the garage-bake sale at the Veterans Partners of Texas headquarters are, from left, Tammie Clark, Mary Walker and Peggy Grove. The veterans group is holding a garage-bake sale each Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the building, which is on FM 1365 about a mile or so south of Mexia on the left. The organizers said they have so many items they cannot fit them in and must change them often.

Masks and gowns aplenty

MSSLC would like to give a huge SHOUTOUT to its Vocational Education Program for their work ethic and dedication during this COVID-19 pandemic. This department made over 2,000 masks and 900 gowns for the MSSLC and other facilities as well as provided masks to local businesses, churches and hospitals, all the while not missing one day of work! Thank you for all you do: awesome work! You’re our heroes.
