The Central Texas Food Bank’s mobile food pantry will give free food to Limestone County residents from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, at Navarro College South, 901 N. Dr. MLK Jr. Highway.
Limestone County commissioners made decisions about the county airport, excess law-enforcement vehicles and the Maintenance Department at their regular meeting on Tuesday, March 8.
After four and a half years and nearly two weeks of testimony the jury found Dabrett Black guilty of capital murder for the murder of Texas Department of Public Safety trooper Damon Allen who he shot with a hunting rifle on Thanksgiving Day in 2017 after being pulled over for a traffic stop.
Local residents all expressed similar sentiments at gas pumps – prices are too high.
The Jonathan Hardin Chapter, NSDAR met Feb. 9 at Gibbs Memorial Library. The meeting was called to order by Regent Nancy McSwane. Invocation was given by Chaplain Marsha Black. Regent McSwane led the chapter in the DAR Ritual. The pledge to the American flag and the Texas flag was led by McSwane. She also opened the meeting by reading the President General’s Message.
