Mexia City Council approved all changes to the proposed budget during the Tuesday, Aug. 16, meeting. The changes followed suggestions during the Aug. 2 workshop.

Mexia schools earn ‘B’ rating from state

Mexia Independent School District recently received its accountability rating summary for the 2021-22 school year from the Texas Education Agency– for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020.
