Friday, April 11

10 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Highway to Health Community Health Fair sponsored by Parkview Regional Hospital featuring 25 vendors. Testing available includes grip, vision, blood pressure and stop-the-bleed demonstration, cardiac and hands-only CPR education and free lab screenings of lipid, hemoglobin A1C and glucose. Saturday, April 12 10 a.m. — The Tehuacana Bluebonnet Festival celebrating Indian heritage will take place on Second Street with a variety of contests and activities. Events include spear throwing, bow and arrow competitions, axe throwing, and— for the brave— a chance to ride a wild bucking mustang. All events are child safety approved and free to participate in. Children ages 4 to 12 can also take part in Indian craft-making. Food and vendor booths will be available throughout the event. ••• 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. — The Limestone County Crime Stoppers is inviting the community to a free, informative workshop aimed at recognizing and addressing domestic violence at the Methodist Church Activity Center, located at 212 West Navasota Street in Groesbeck. Resources and service information will be available at the event. Complimentary coffee and donuts will also be served.

3 p.m. Smith Chapel P.B. Church of Wortham, Pastor Elder David Evans will be hosting an Old Fashion Day program with Elder Henry Chambers of Tabernacle of Faith in Mexia as the guest speaker. Everyone is invited to the fellowship.

Monday, April 14

11 a.m. — The USDA- NRCS and Limestone- Falls Soil and Water Conservation District are hosting a local work group and longrange planning meeting. The meeting is an opportunity to collect public input on the Farm Bill funding priorities from local landowners, land managers, farmers, ranchers, growers, producers, forest owners, etc.

••• 5:30 p.m. — Groesbeck FFA Greenhand students will be selling and marketing their products they have made. This will take place at Groesbeck High School Cafeteria. Come and support your local students in all the hard work they have accomplished and learned over the 2024-2025 year. Some things that will be at the Market Day Sale will be desserts, wooden bench, wooden feeder, drink coasters, flower hanging basket, etc.

Friday, April 18

2 p.m. — Annual Groesbeck LTC Easter egg hunt. There will be prizes for golden eggs. Located at Groesbeck LTC, 607 Parkside Dr. For more information call 254-729-3245.

11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. — First Methodist Church Groesbeck’s annual Easter egg hunt. Located at the church on State St. Free food, bounce house, and crafts too!
