The Wortham Bulldogs football team ran away with their 2A-Division 2 Region 3 bi-district playoff game in Brownsboro. They topped the Clarksville Tigers 76-30 on Friday night at Bear Stadium.
The Mexia Blackcats were riding high going into the Thursday night, Nov. 14, Class 3A Division 1 bi-district football playoff against the Pilot Point Bearcats. Mexia had won three consecutive games and had captured its first district championship in four years.
The Mexia Ladycats basketball team had little trouble in Tuesday night’s home contest, defeating the Life Oak Cliff Lady Lions by a wide margin, 64-19.
