The Mexia boys basketball team fell victim to a hot-shooting Palestine Westwood squad in the third quarter and lost a 7972 decision in the opening District 20-3A game for both teams at Westwood on Friday, Dec. 15.
The Mexia girls basketball team isn’t worried about style points. They are focused on accumulating wins.
We’re headed down the home stretch of another Texas deer season. While rutting activity is waning across much of the state, it’s just now about to get cranked up down south. Some of the year’s best hunting in the Brush Country and Mexico always happens around the Christmas rush.
