The Coolidge Yellowjacks basketball team traveled to Neches on Friday, Jan. 17 and came away with a 54-38 road win. Including non-district play, Coolidge has now won seven straight games.
The Wortham Lady Bulldogs basketball team suffered a 48-33 road defeat at the hands of the Hubbard Lady Jaguars on Friday, Jan. 17. It was Wortham’s fifth straight district loss and drops their district record to 1-5.
In a non-district affair, the Mexia Ladycats soccer team lost to 12th-ranked Madisonville at home, 6-0, on Jan. 17.
The Coolidge Ladyjackets basketball team fell to 1-3 in district play with a 68-14 road loss to Neches on Friday, Jan. 17.
