New and updated property tax information has just been compiled by Limestone Appraisal District and is available now to assist taxpayers. This property tax information is current and covers a wide range of topics, such as taxpayer remedies, exemptions, and appraisals, and has information for select groups, such as disabled veterans and persons age 65 or older.
Business owners have until April 15 to file property tax renditions with the Limestone Appraisal District. To render is to simply list the taxable inventory, equipment, and other personal property a business owned or managed as of January 1st. Filing a rendition late, incomplete, or not at all could result in a 10 to 50 percent penalty. Rendition forms and more details are available at the Limestone Appraisal District, 303 S.
