State immigration law again on hold

The on-again, off-again state immigration law is once more on hold while the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals considers its constitutionality. Senate Bill 4 would allow state and local law enforcement officials to arrest and deport people suspected of entering the state illegally from Mexico, the Austin American-Statesman reported. The U.S. Supreme Court last Tuesday removed a temporary hold on the law, which allowed it to take effect for several hours before the 5th Circuit court again stopped SB4 from being enforced while it considers its constitutionality.
FOOD POISONING OR STOMACH BUG?

Dear Heloise: So many people can’t tell the difference between food poisoning and a stomach bug. It’s important to be able to know the difference: -- Food poisoning: You experience diarrhea, cramps, nausea, vomiting and possibly a low-grade fever. It’s usually brought on by contaminated food, food that wasn’t kept at a proper temperature, or bacteria on a food handler’s hands. It can also be caused by a number of toxins. It’s not contagious, and over 48 million Americans report a case of food poisoning each year.

The Easter Season is upon us. For the Christian this means the celebration of the Resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ, from the grave. You see, Satan thought he had won the war. He thought he had defeated God and all creation, especially God’s top creation, mankind, that is, you and me. He thought he could now do whatever he wanted to do, and no one, and I mean “No One” was going to stand in his way of total control! But he was only fooling himself, because three days later, three days after Jesus had been nailed to the cross and buried in a borrowed tomb (borrowed because He really wouldn’t be needing it for long), He arose from the grave and broke the Devil’s back! Satan thought he had won the victory, but he hadn’t. The writer of Hebrews tells us in the fourth chapter, “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our hour of need.”
