Maxine Helen Marcotte, 82, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020, in Weatherford. She was born May 15, 1937, in Pleasant Plains, Ark., to James A. and Helen Ayers Weaver. She was the oldest of six children.

The viewing for Edward Walter Scott will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 8, at Paradise Funeral Home, 3910 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas.

Betty J. McCullough, 81, of Waco, passed away at her home on April 26, 2020. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 1, at OakCrest Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kip Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard in Waco. State required social distancing will be practiced at both events, and wearing masks is encouraged.
