MARGARET KIM THOMPSON

Margaret Kim Thompson, 67, of Lake Mexia, passed away Jan. 11, 2022, at her residence. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at Jones Funeral Services Chapel. Interment followed at Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family was prior to the service, starting at 1 p.m.

Mrs. Thompson was born Oct. 3, 1954, in Seoul, South Korea, to Jake R. and Choon Ja (Ruth) Thompson. She was a retired Registered Nurse. Kim was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her hus band, Jurgen Thompson of Lake Mexia; daughters, Kris Lindsey of Mexia, Stacy Sims and husband Brett of Blanco and Stephanie Thompson of Mexia; son, Kyle Thompson of Mex ia; grandchildren, Myka, Ava, Lillian, Hazel Jane and Brooks; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Olivia; sisters, Judy Fleming and husband Bob, Mary Jane Cotton and husband Paul Wayne, and Dollie Goren and husband Abe; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Serving as pallbearers were Bryan Cotton, Jeremy Fleming, Jonathan Fleming, Brett Sims, Josh Stifle and Michael Campbell.
