Britney Iesha Jean Stroud

Britney Iesha Jean Stroud was called home by God on Dec. 14, 2019.

She was born to Jacqueline Renee Clayton and Jack Clayton on Jan. 30, 1992, in Temple.

She attended school in Corsicana, making lifelong friends along the way. She always had a big, beautiful smile ready for everyone she came across. Her trusting nature and pure heart would embrace you the minute you made eye contact. Her son, Trevion Storm Carter, was her entire world. The love they shared is an enduring love.

Britney loved all of her family, including the friends she met as she matured into the adult she became. She will be missed by her family and her community, on whom she made a huge impact.

Britney was preceded in death by her PaPa Robert Earl Medlock; cousin Veronica Milus; great-grandfather L.C. Milus; uncle Bubba and aunt Frances Clayton.

She leaves her cherished memories to her son, Trevion Carter, mother Jacqueline Clayton, father Jack Clayton; sisters Deja Stroud and Enisha Stroud; grandmother Gloria Medlock; aunts Vickie Bradford and Dorenda Jackson; uncles Bennie Shepard IV and Victor Milus; a niece and three nephews; two younger cousins she loved dearly; and many other relatives and friends.

Her funeral will be held at Haynes Temple Church, in Mexia, on Sunday, Dec. 22, at 2 p.m.

Visitation with the family will take place before the funeral, at 1 p.m.

Funeral services are entrusted to Pearly Gates Funeral Home.
