Bradley N. Bruckner

Bradley N. Bruckner, 67, of Coolidge passed away Nov. 5, 2018, at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple. Graveside memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8 at Coolidge Cemetery. There will be no formal family visitation.

Mr. Bruckner was born on Aug. 27, 1951, in Norfolk, Nebraska to Walter and Pearl Peters Bruckner. Before retirement, he was a drafter with U.S. Aluminum. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus with Council 5211 in Corsicana. He served as a council officer including the role as grand knight during the mid-’90s. He also served as a member of the Knights of Columbus Color Corp for Assembly 2265. He loved helping with the frying of turkeys at Thanksgiving and painting houses in the summer, as well as numerous other charitable activities they endeavor in.

Brad attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where he served as an usher for many years. He helped with many projects around the parish and was instrumental in the building of the Immaculate Conception Pavilion which now serves as the location for the Immaculate Conception Youth Group.

Bradley was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Pearl Bruckner; sister, Paulette Haley; grandsons, Colton and Nolan Bruckner; and his grandparents, Hannah Peters and August Peters. Survivors include his son, Bradley N. Bruckner II and wife Tonia of Coolidge; daughter, Amy Bruckner of Corsicana; brother, Barry Bruckner of Norfolk, Neb.; brother-in-law, Tim Haley of Norfolk, Neb.; grandson, Robert Jacob Bruckner of Fairfield; niece, Erin Haley Hitz, as well as nephews, Kelly Bruckner, Scott Bruckner and Brandon Bruckner.

The family request that memorial contributions in Mr. Bruckner’s name be made to Knights of Columbus with Council 5211 in Corsicana.
