Baldemar DeJesus Molina

Baldemar DeJesus Molina, 65 of Mexia, passed away Nov. 26, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 30, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mexia, with Father Moses Iyogwoya MSP as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Services, followed by a rosary at 7 p.m.

Molina was born on Oct. 17, 1957, in Vallehermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Tomas and Ramona Chapa Molina. He had been in the community since 1976 and spent 31 years as a welder with General Dynamics in Wortham. He also was the owner of Molina’s Tortilleria since 1995. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mexia.

Baldemar was preceded in death by his father, Tomas Molina; brother, Alfredo Molina; son, Baldemar D. Molina Jr.; and grandmother, Genoveva Lozano Pacheco.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Molina of Mexia; daughters, Lizet Molina, Mayra Feregrino and Adalia Molina, all of Mexia; Carlos Dominguez, Alejandro Feregrino and Jesse Garay, all of Mexia; grandchildren, Carlos B. Dominguez, Nayzeth A. Dominguez, Jocelyn A. Feregrino, Alejandro N. Feregrino, Nayeli A. Garay, Briana, A. Garay, Jaycie A. Garay and Aylin M. Feregrino, all of Mexia; sister, Maria del Rosario Troncoso and husband Juan; brother, Nicolas Molina; sister, Maria Dolores Candanoza and husband, Isidro; brother, Tomas Molina and wife Elena ;and sister, Elvira Gonzalez and husband Luis.

Serving as pallbearers are Carlos A. Dominguez, Alejandro Feregrino, Jesse Garay, Carlos B. Dominguez, Patricio Jaramillo and Leonardo Feregrino.
