Mexia High School DECA students competed at the district level Dec. 7-8 and five of the eleven students who competed are advancing to state competition.
The Taco Bell in Mexia closed Saturday, Jan. 16, for extensive renovations and will not reopen until the latter part of February.
The date to file for election to the Mexia City Council or Mexia ISD school board opened Jan. 13 and will close Friday, Feb. 12.
