Mexia residents will be able to voice their opinion on Mexia’s Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan when the city holds a public hearing on the matter at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at City Hall, 101 N. McKinney St.
Wortham High School senior Ben Havens placed third in Class 2A at the UIL State Congressional Debate contest recently. Havens qualified for the competition in November 2020 during the UIL Regional contest. This is the second year Ben has competed in this event and the second consecutive year for him to place third in the State.
