Limestone County is now stocked with PPE supplies to help fight the spread of COVID-19 locally. On Friday, Aug. 7, Limestone County received 24 pallets full of personal protective equipment, with 11 pallets still in Austin to be delivered soon.

A Freestone County man was killed Tuesday afternoon when he drove out of his driveway and in front of a large pickup truck and trailer.
$1.2 million found in Juvie budget

County Judge Richard Duncan shared with commissioners Tuesday, Aug. 11, the details of the discovery of about $1.2 million dollars that had been amassed by the Juvenile Detention Center over a period of several years, and his plans to put that taxpayer money back into the county coffers.
